Filene Center

Tickets

Seating for patrons with disabilities may be purchased online or by calling Patron Services at 703.255.1868 (staffed Monday–Friday from 10 AM–4 PM). Accessible seats are indicated with a in the online purchase seat map. Ensure that "Accessible Seats" is toggled "on" to view locations of available accessible seats.

Parking

For information on parking for patrons with disabilities, please call the National Park Service at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts: 703.255.1800 and press 2. Upon your arrival, notify National Park Service staff that you need accessibility parking. They will direct you to the closest ADA parking area for your seats. Courtesy golf cart rides are available from the parking lots to the venue.

Restrooms

Accessible restrooms are located on the Plaza, in Meadow Commons, and at the Concessions building to the right of the rear orchestra, near the accessible parking lot. Single-occupancy restrooms are also available in Meadow Commons.

Elevators

Meadow Commons, located within the Filene Center, features two elevators that connect the lower levels of the venue to the top area of the Plaza. These elevators provide entry from the accessible parking lot to the Plaza, where patrons can enjoy dinner at Ovations Restaurant or picnicking on the Meadow Overlook without encountering stairs. 

Accessible Pathways

The covered, in-house seating area includes two center aisles, a crosswalk along the back of the Orchestra section, and accessible seating that offers extraordinary views of the stage.

Sign Language Interpretation & CART 

Sign language interpretation can be arranged by calling 703.255.1868 or emailing Patron Services. A minimum of one-week advance notice is required. Wolf Trap will provide CART (Communication Access Real Time Translation) services when requests are made three weeks in advance of the show.

Amplification

FM Loop amplification headsets are available for the hearing impaired for most performances at no charge. When you arrive, ask an usher for more information.

The Barns

Accessible restrooms are located near the parking lot and in the Meadow. The Meadow restrooms are the closest to the theater.

Accessible Pathways

An all-weather paved pathway makes it easy to traverse between bathroom facilities and the Children’s Theatre-in-the-Woods kiosk and bridges.
