Music Moves Inside: The Barns at Wolf Trap Announces Its 2024-2025 Season

Additional performances announced throughout the fall

Vienna, Virginia (August 8, 2024)Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts is delighted to announce the first performances of the 2024-2025 season at The Barns at Wolf Trap, its historic 382-seat indoor venue. This season's lineup features artists spanning multiple genres from around the world. A complete calendar of performances may be found here.

“We are proud to present this dynamic lineup for The Barns at Wolf Trap,” said Arvind Manocha, President and CEO of Wolf Trap Foundation. “This season includes international artists, Broadway icons, Grammy Award winners, DC’s own local anthem singers, and many more legendary acts. Wolf Trap continues to be committed to bringing a diverse range of artists to our stages that you can’t see anywhere else in the region.”

The 2024-2025 season starts in October with Broadway star Norm Lewis (Oct 18 + 19); country-rock innovator Jim Messina (Oct 22); three nights of Graham Nash (Oct 23, 25, 26); and Grammy and Oscar winner T Bone Burnett (Oct 28 + 29) on his first tour in almost two decades.

November welcomes the reimagined Broadway sounds of Third Reprise (Nov 1); folk music sensation Over The Rhine (Nov 2); indie musician Jess Williamson (Nov 6); vocal pop artists The Doo Wop Project (Nov 7); a vibrant performance of Mariachi Herencia de México (Nov 8); legendary South African sounds of the Abdullah Ibrahim Trio (Nov 13); the return of Brazilian jazz pianist Eliane Elias (Nov 21); Newmyer Flyer Presents The Beach Boys’ Pet Sounds and The Beatles’ Revolver (Nov 22 + 23); and DC Anthem Singers Shine featuring Bob McDonald, Caleb Green, and D.C. Washington (Nov 24).

The Barns at Wolf Trap will host two holiday shows this season with a night of soulful melodies during the Blind Boys of Alabama’s Christmas Show (Dec 5) and a WWII Tiki Xmas Canteen by Cherry Poppin’ Daddies (Dec 6).

The new year will open with two performances of Nashville Emerging Artists Night (Jan 31 + Feb 1), featuring Randall Fowler, Jimmy Woods, Emily Brooke, Tristan McIntosh, Emily Ortego, and Landon Wall with percussionist Jack Dracht. February sees Kayhan Kalhor, Wu Man, and Sandeep Das in DoosTrio (Feb 6); NPR’s own Ari Shapiro (Feb 7) host a cabaret night of songs and stories; the 65th Anniversary Show of The Second City (Feb 19–22); and the island sounds of Masters of Hawaiian Music (Feb 27).

In March, audiences can enjoy Todo Tango with the Pan American Symphony Orchestra (Mar 8); the melodic sounds of International Guitar Night (Mar 12 + 13); Irish Masters of the DC Area’s (Mar 14 + 15) Celtic celebration; and the 36th Annual Evening of Comedy (Mar 21 + 22).

Closing out the season is Broadway’s favorite Jersey Boy John Lloyd Young (Apr 23), who returns with an evening of classic hits.

Chamber Music at The Barns returns for another season of acclaimed performances curated for the fifth and final time by Artistic Advisor Wu Han, who performs in two programs. A full list of new and previously announced performances may be found here.

The Barns at Wolf Trap, known for its historical architecture and exceptional acoustics, offers a one-of-a-kind musical experience. Tickets for the 2024–2025 season at The Barns at Wolf Trap will go on sale to the public on Friday, August 16. Wolf Trap members (donors of $80 and above) may purchase their tickets beginning on August 8, in advance of the public on-sale.

Ticketing and On-Sale Information

  • Tickets for all announced performances go on sale to the public on Friday, August 16 at 10 a.m. Tickets may be purchased online at wolftrap.org.
  • Ticket prices vary by performance and location and are subject to change. See individual performance listings online at Wolf Trap’s website calendar.
  • Wolf Trap members have access to exclusive presales and may purchase tickets in advance of the general public. For more information on becoming a member, visit wolftrap.org/membership.

About Wolf Trap

Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, produces and presents a full range of performance and education programs in the Greater Washington area, as well as nationally. Wolf Trap features three performance venues: the outdoor Filene Center and Children’s Theatre-in-the-Woods, both located at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts, and The Barns at Wolf Trap, located down the road from the national park and adjacent to the Center for Education at Wolf Trap.
