An outstanding assembly of internationally renowned wind players join Chamber Music Society favorite and acclaimed pianist Anne-Marie McDermott to perform ensemble classics from the 18th through the 20th centuries. The program begins with sonatas and smaller ensembles before all gather for Poulenc’s effervescent Sextet, which he described as “an homage to the wind instruments I have loved from the moment I began composing.”
