Wolf Trap Foundation Volunteer Opportunities
Filene Center Gift Shop
Assist patrons interested in purchasing Wolf Trap merchandise during Filene Center performances, as well as renting binoculars and seat cushions for the lawn. Gift Shop and Concessions volunteers (described below) have the added perk of hearing concerts during their shifts!
Concessions
Help with food and beverage operations at our Concession stands at the Filene Center. Work with seasonal staff in a lively environment.
Hospitality
Assist the Wolf Trap Special Events team at events for members, patrons, and their guests. Serve as a greeter/guide to help visitors feel welcome at the Park before performances.
Ushering at The Barns
In the fall, assist Wolf Trap patrons by guiding them to their ticketed seats, handing out program books, and performing general front of house tasks during performances.
Office
Work with Wolf Trap Foundation staff on mailings, filing, and miscellaneous office tasks at the Center for Education throughout the year. These volunteer duties are essential to Wolf Trap Foundation’s operations, and the Foundation staff enjoys interacting with volunteers during the day.
Promotional Events
Lend a hand to our marketing team at various local and promotional events by engaging with guests, distributing collateral, and representing Wolf Trap enthusiastically in the community.

Requirements
- 18 years or older
- Current Wolf Trap member
- Commit to a certain number of shifts per summer (gift shop and hospitality only)
- Willing to work under the supervision of Wolf Trap Foundation staff
